How to Catch Uxie Brilliant Diamond: Location and Battle Guide

Uxie is one of the legendary Lake Guardians in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Known as the Being of Knowledge, this Psychic-type Pokémon provides players with a formidable defensive challenge. Capturing Uxie requires completing specific story milestones and using smart tactics during combat.

Prerequisites for Finding Uxie

Before you can battle Uxie, you must complete the main story events involving Team Galactic. Head to Mt. Coronet and defeat Cyrus at Spear Pillar, resolving the crisis with Dialga or Palkia. Once the Galactic plot is resolved, Uxie will return to its resting place in the Sinnoh region.

Finding the Acuity Cavern Location

To locate Uxie, travel north through Route 217 until you reach Lake Acuity near Snowpoint City. Use the move Surf to cross the water to the small island sitting in the center of the lake. Enter the cavern opening on the island to find Acuity Cavern, where Uxie awaits in the center of the room.
